Cane Garden Bay’s rustic neighbor is a wonderful place for swimming, snorkeling and sandcastle building for all ages and stages. The hard packed sand beach is fringed with mature Coconut palms and Seagrape trees offering plenty of shady spots to spread out your beach towel and while a peaceful day away. Brewer’s Bay gets its name from a once busy distillery constructed in the early 1700s, the ruins of which can easily be seen rising from the surrounding tropical jungle. The bay’s verdant backdrop gives the location a richly tropical ambience, enhanced by its tranquil waters often translucent emerald in color. Brewer’s offers a basic beach bar serving cold beers and burgers, as well as lounge chairs for rent. There’s also a fun reef to snorkel a few yards of the shore.
