Smuggler's Cove

A little further down the track sits Long Bay’s diminutive neighbor, stunningly beautiful Smugglers Cove. Referred to by many as Tortola’s hidden gem, access is gained via winding dirt track running through a tropical forest that separates the exclusive residential community of Belmont from a large, palm fringed salt pond. The beach itself is a splendid stretch of white sand curving along a perfectly protected little bay. Clear, calm waters are Bombay Sapphire blue and make the most wonderful swimming, snorkeling, and soaking spot. Under the shade of the Seagrapes, you will find a couple of rustic beach bars serving sizzling BBQ, burgers, and icy cold beverages. Smuggler’s is a real treasure and should be on your BVI to-visit list – trust us, you will not regret it!
