Embrace alfresco Caribbean living – the beautiful playful colours of Sunny Side Up will immediately attract you, evocative of the warmth and vitality of a Caribbean Island. And then the convenient and thoughtful layout and spacious airy rooms will draw you in.

THE INTERIOR

Built in 2008, its vibrant yellow, pink and blue exteriors help this classic Caribbean structure stand out as it sits high up on the hillside in the desirable Belmont Estate, overlooking Belmont Pond, Long Bay and Smuggler’s Cove below, with islands dotted on the serene horizon.

A flight of steps will bring you to the main level, home to the Great Room, with its cathedral ceiling and series of high-arched windows and doors – letting in plenty of natural light, and providing panoramic views and cooling breezes as you rest on the comfortable, natural sea grass furniture. The open living room and kitchen area is separated by a convenient breakfast bar with bar stools, and the kitchen is fitted with stainless steel appliances, gas stove, well-stocked mahogany cupboards, granite counter tops and walk-in pantry.

On the other side of the pool in a 2nd pavilion you’ll find a beautiful air-conditioned suite with two queen beds, built-in closets and an en-suite bathroom with double vanity and tiled al-fresco shower. Both beds face out to the gorgeous ocean views and you can just wander onto your personal porch area to sit and admire the stunning sea vistas.

An exterior staircase from the pool deck leads up to the impressive master suite with a king-sized, four-poster mahogany bed, double-vanity en-suite bathroom and natural stone private outdoor shower.

On the lower level is the third bedroom with two queen beds, built-in closets and a tiled bathroom with walk-in shower.

Maid service is once midweek and she will change all linens and towels as well as do a general clean throughout the villa. Laundry facilities are available for everyday use.

THE OUTSIDE

Through an arched doorway leading to the pool deck, you’ll find an 8-10 person covered al-fresco dining area, large stainless steel built-in gas BBQ, wet bar and a poolside shower. There is an additional table with 4 chairs and 4 sun loungers on the pool deck.

DINING OPTIONS:

Tropical Fusion and 1748 on the beach in Long Bay. Sebastians on the Beach, Tramonti and The Sugar Mill for fine dining in a beautiful historical setting in Apple Bay. Da Coal Pot on the waterfront in Carrot Bay, Bananakeet (top of Windy Hill for the best sunset views), Stoutt’s Lookout (top of Windy Hill) for great views and very informal BBQ etc, Omars Coffee House and Omars Fusion at Soper’s Hole. Bustling Cane Garden Bay with it’s selection of restaurants, bars and live music, is just a 15 minute drive.

GROCERIES & ATTRACTIONS:

C&D convenience store is just over Zion Hill (10-15 minutes drive) and at Soper’s Hole you’ll find Harbour Market (a well-stocked branch of the island’s main grocery store, Riteway), along with gift shops and Island Surf and Sail for all your water toy rentals. Sage Mountain is a 25 minute drive and offers beautiful National Park trails at a slightly cooler temperature due to the elevation and shade of the rainforest-like terrain.

BEACHES:

Long Bay Beach is 1 mile long of white sand – perfect for walking off the cocktails and coconut shrimp or conch fritters! The best areas for swimming are near the middle and the 2 ends of the beach. Pelican Point is a large rock protruding from the water in the middle of Long Bay, great for snorkeling out to on calm days. Apple Bay offers world class surfing when the conditions are right. Smugglers Cove is a protected spot that usually offers calm waters – perfect for the less energetic among us and perfect for snorkelling the coral reefs where you can spot all kinds of sea-life.
